published by „GHEORGHE ASACHI” TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY of IASI AUTOMATIC CONTROL and COMPUTER SCIENCE SectionISSN 1220 - 2169The first issue of the AUTOMATIC CONTROL and COMPUTER SCIENCE Section, belonging to the Journal “Buletinul Institului Politehnic din Iasi”, was published in 1991, one year after the foundation of the Automatic Control and Computer Science Faculty within the Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” of Iasi. This Section of is an expression of the academic life from Automatic Control and Computer Science Faculty and its main purpose is to promote the results of the scientific research in the national and the international university environments. Four issues are published every year. Original material: Submission of an article implies that the described work has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis) and it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The paper publication is approved by all authors and if it is accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language. Editors reserve the right to adjust style to certain standards of uniformity. Language Editing: The papers should be edited in English, French or German and should enclose an abstract in Romanian. A special attention should be paid to those papers demonstrating practical relevance to real systems, although papers describing innovative architectures, algorithms or software tools for use in engineering systems. The journal publishes basic and applied papers describing mature work involving above topics, survey articles, editorials, methodological and book reviews. Submission of papers: Authors are requested to submit their original manuscript in PDF format to one of the section editors. After peer review and final acceptance, the paper will be assigned to page numbers and an issue of the bulletin. The reviewers are kindly asked to complete the Review Form and send it to the editors.

When the final article is assigned to an issue of the bulletin, the Article in Press version will be removed from this section and will appear in the associated published issue. Accepted papers - these are articles containing the authors' corrections and have specific issue and page numbers assigned top
